Long time no write....

Wow!  We are fully into fall around our house.  Almost one month of school under our belts, soccer games in full swing and I started making Christmas cards today.  My sister is down to the wire preparing for the wedding, the big day is next week.  She's amazingly calm.  Photos are set, rings are puchased, the caterer is great and company from out of state starts arriving on Tuesday! 

Meanwhile, Joe has been running our household around here.  Lots of late nights for me and Joe has been so great with dinners ready and many nights kids all set in bed.  I can finally see the light coming where I'll be caught up for the most part at work.  I have to say, I really enjoy things at work.  It's so much easier not to have to communicate everything with someone else.  I'm able to follow up right away with people and parents.  I do miss things at home, especially getting to know the kid's teachers and all that is going on there.  I just keep reminding myself that I'll be home a lot more after the next two weeks.... 

Today the girls and I spent three hours at a girly birthday party........15 six year olds!  I definitley could have used a beverage after it.  :)  Joe spent the day coaching soccer and carting kids to soccer photos.  He's such a great dad and I am so lucky!
